Just what do they mean by "over the hill"?
Is it something to do with Jack and Jill?
I don't remember reaching the top
So this tumbling down has got to stop...

I'd like to think it's our own hill
Of wisdom, strength, and free will
Which means it would be a bumpy ride
If we had to go down the other side

Unless of course the path was clear
And we had with us good riding gear
But alas, it can't be this...
We all know ignorance is bliss.

So, ok, what DOES it mean?
Is it all we've done and all we've seen?
Does this make us want to slide
An imaginary hillside?

If this is true I want to know
Is there any way to make this ride slow?
I've worked pretty hard to build this hill
And I'd like more time to enjoy it still.
