Unsolved Mysteries *G*

This is going to be a regular feature of our Newsletter, I'm sure. It's all about how sometimes in forums such as ours posts can be misconstrued, and if you're in the "know" and can see it all happen you end up laughing so darn hard. I laughed until I cried about how this all happened regarding the roto-rooter man. (It still cracks me up!!)

You see, it all began with a post by - you guessed it - Heart!

You just have to know how to push the limits with these people.....and if you want to talk about caulk, you have to get creative and lower your mind in the gutter once in awhile....sheesh *S*

Hey, the boards are showing favoritism. How come HOS can say damn, but I can't tell everybody I have a @#%$ spaniel????

ZipDog
(1/16/00 3:25:40 pm)
O.K., Alex....O.K.!
You've got a DAMN spaniel! O.K.?
(Poor spaniel....what did that li'l critter ever do to you?)
;-)

As you can plainly see, this entire train of thought slid quickly into the gutter and became downright hilarious!! (Well, at least I thought so...) Then in steps Marsh, who has been gone a couple days with household emergencies which I will explain shortly, and he responds to a much earlier post (way, way, way earlier post) from Zippy --- but here's the deal ---- no one knew that was the post he was replying to because all of us had gone way beyond the @#%$ (aka cocker) spaniel incident. ROTFLOL!!! Here's the post Marsh was replying to (waaaaaaay back at page 1 - the 4th post in the thread!):

Hope so! I have been inviting folks to come check it out. Some of them will come, for sure....it is just a matter of time.
Meanwhile, start diggin', Marsh!

Well ummmmm I am going to call the roto rooter man tomorrow and if he cant help out with this sewer problem I guess I will really have to do some diggin.. *sigh*

Now, I come back to the forum much later to see the results - and MAN!!! do I ever crack up!!! I laughed so darn hard tears were actually rolling down my cheeks, because, you see... I know the REST of the story. But first --- what had me laughing so hard...

Re: ZIP
Marsh, old man....you'll find that everyting has been sorted out quite nicely and gentilely. No injuries...except for a few bruised egos....and, everyone is in great spirits at the conclusion of this particular experiment in enlightenment and experiential development.
Can't thank you enough for the thought; but, no "roto-rooter" man will be required for this affair. Thank you!

(Now because I happen to know the REST of the story, I just couldn't help tossing in a few comments *hehehe*)

Re: Someone's Mind Is Clear
But there is a danger that what mind he has could get flushed along with the nasty stuff...*LOL* Then his mind would be either empty or totally in the sewer.......

Shoshannah
(1/19/00 8:37:08 pm)
{{{{{{And BB, Too}}}}}}}}}
Now the place is REALLY like home!!!!!

Now, here enters Marsh again... ummmm, Page 6 - Post #101!!!

Ok Zip.. Now ya really lost me on that last reply... *G*
I'm not quite sure just what your a sortin out but glad to see there were no injuries.. Also glad to hear that you are in no need of the "roto-rooter" guy either.. But I sure could have used one... But with the twister driving the machine we got it all fixed up.. But there were a couple minor injuries here... The machine tossed Karen and was heading right for me, trying to wrap its whirling tentacle around me.. But she saved the day!! She let go of the button.. *hehe*

Now, you guys ready to hear the REST of the story and why I couldn't help laughing 'til I cried? Honestly, tears were actually streaming down my cheeks at this point, 'cuz I knew what no one else knew... LOL!!!

You see, one of the main reasons Marsh was away from posting so much those two days was owing to a major sewer problem here at the house. We couldn't flush the toilet or have a shower for almost 5 days!!! He really did need a roto-rooter, and we really did rent one, and yes, both he and I fixed the problem one night and the machine went absolutely nuts on me almost whipping me all over the basement (which was pretty hillarious in itself) --- there's even more to this story, which I'll fill all of you in on about 5 or 6 months from now *VBG* --- but in the meantime, dang I had fun with the roto-rooter guy. You'll find him popping up in quite a few threads. ROTFLOL!!!
