Free Stuff On Your Site!

Free contests, free screensavers, free lottery tickets, free scratch and save tickets, free trial products, free software downloads, free vacation giveaways, there so much FREE promotional stuff available on the Net. Don't you wish you could offer something on your own site too? Well, you can. And the WebGuide shows you how...

First, we are not lawyers, not international lawyers either. Do you have any idea how many different laws exist out there regarding free sweepstakes, lotteries, etc.? Heck, I sure don't. And I don't want to spend the rest of my life finding them all out either. So if I'm going to run high value prize contests on my site, I'm going to use a third party to do it - someone who knows what they're doing. That's what I'm providing for you here - a list of sites which will allow you to run free contests, or give away free things, on your site. They take care of the legal work, you get to promote free contests and such on your site, and here's the bonus, you can even make some extra cash doing it too (for some programs)!

Free Contests And Free2Try Products

BachSystems - you'll find a wide range of different contests from free vacation packages to free digital cameras, free computers, free video cams, and more. Also they have several free to try books, magazines, and other services offered which you can add to your site's content. Your pay varies according to the program. I've been running their programs for about 9 months now and just recently received the first check - only $56 - so don't expect to get rich quick, but have fun giving free offers out there. It's a nice touch for your customers.

WebSponsors - another site carrying many of the same offers as BachSystems above, with a twist. Here you have the option of getting a self-replicating free2try site instead of doing individual programs. If you would rather have a link on your site pointing to this than run contest or free product banners on your site, this one may be perfect for you. Also, the BounyWeb sweepstakes are exclusive to WebSponsors.

Note: both of the above have minimum traffic requirements your site must meet before you will be approved into their programs. Also note, payment is generally 3 months after commissions are earned (for Bach) and on both sites stats are given approximately every 7 to 10 days but not on all programs. Some programs only report bi-monthly, others only monthly. Also note, you must have your own domain name for these.

GreenTravel - offer the wonderful nature screensaver download for free from your site. Or how about the nature calendar? Would you prefer to have a picture load to your site featuring a daily escape - you guessed it - it changes daily! This is a delightfully unique site offering Adventure Travel services to the world wide web with protecting the environment in mind at all times. I truly like them. Note: not all sites will be accepted into their Affiliate Program though, since they prefer sites with content in keeping with their own. For example, the WebGuide isn't even close - but we are running them on the Great Outdoors Club soon. We thought their screensaver was a nice "free gift" to give to our members there.

There are other sites out there running these types of contests and free trials too, but some I did not sign up to for many different reasons. One I found was basically one huge rip-off - signing up affiliates then forcing them to go weekly to his site to enter his contests which were the same contests being offered by the above two. Another one, I totally did NOT like their terms and conditions! Do you read any terms and conditions for programs you sign onto? Trust me, you should!

Email Lottery - This one is kind of cool! Customers can enter up to 9 times per week on a regular free membership for the chance to win the weekly grand cash prize. If they upgrade to a premium membership you can earn commissions too. There's more... I just thought the free lottery ticket idea was a neat concept. To register, simply go to my lotto ticket site (and hey, while you're there might as well play a free card too).

Prizes.Com Scratch-And-Win Instantly! - These are a ton of fun. I must have spent over an hour over there one day just trying them out before offering them on my free games center at Time4me.Com. You actually scratch the tickets using your mouse and have the chance to win some great cash prizes as well as tokens which can be exchanged for great products. You don't make any money - oh, unless one of your referred players hits one of the jackpots. Then you get a percentage. Pretty cool. Try it out just for fun. Ummm, I should warn you - they can be addicting. *G* Oh, btw, they will custom design a scratch-and-win contest to run for your site exclusively, but I'm not sure how expensive that may be. I just know it's probably out of my meager price range. If you have a bigger budget, er, have a budget even (something I don't have) you may want to consider doing this.

UpRoar.Com - Games of skill or games of chance? *G* You can add the Trivia Board games directly on your site. You do receive a small commission if a new player registers and plays from your site, then goes on to play one of their other games. You don't make much money from it, but it is a lot of fun for your visitors if you're looking to add entertainment.
